In class we were taught how to set up a camera. Then we had to go and do it ourselves with no help.

This day was entirely devoted to filming, every shot had to be completed within the few hours we had to film. Filming began at 1:00pm and ended at 5:30pm. Everything went according to plan.

First day of editing was spent filling out the shot logging sheets and placing the chosen shots onto the timeline.

Audience Feedback - Post Viewing

Audience Feedback


Most people enjoyed our opening.
The majority thought our graphics were suited to the thriller.

A quarter of the audience didn't understand the narrative.

The majority of the audience thought it had good continuity.

Most people thought our music suited our thriller well.

Most people believed our thriller was made to a high standard.


Most of the audience thought it was entertaining.

Most people were engaged by the start of the film.
The majority of the audience would want to watch the rest of the
 film, had it been made.
A quarter of the audience thought a 15 certificate was
 not suitable whereas 3 quarters did.
The audience tells us that we built tension to a good standard.

This tells us that the audience would have wanted to watch more.

This shows us that have made a very good thriller opening.

This tells us that the locations and props were perfect for the thriller.
This is the questionnaire used to get opinions after
the audience had watched the opening.
